प्यारे हमदर्दों के नाम...

क्यों चाहते हो मशविरा मुझसे
अपनी परेशानियों के सबब पे
क्या जानते नहीं कि ख़ुद
एक पेचीदा मसअला हूँ मैं.

Translation:

To Loved Well wishers...

Why do you seek
to consult me
on your problems..
Don’t you realize
that I myself am
an obscure crisis?

    1. Yes Indu, you're right, but the verse depicts the poet's helplessness, dejection and detachment...thanks a lot for caring to comment!

  2. May be you have a solution to others` problems and others have solutions for your problems. Afterall, we are dependent on each other.

  7. I so wholly agree with you Versha,it's not that a language has any handicaps but the translation can not instill the very feel of a language into the other, and hence appears crippled. I provide translation for friends who are more comfortable with English. All are most welcome to suggest an improvement anytime and I shall happily incorporate it with gratitude. I'm more than happy with your attesting my mixture of Hindi and Urdu:) Thanks a lot for your time and appreciation:)
