(Sequel:Part-2)

Translation:

To Friends...

You were active my friends
sharing your sad stories
and earning sympathies or applauses.
That the meeting was declared ‘over’
by the time it was my turn
was, though, callous of you.

You were very humane
to have given me an humble hut,
however, the Sun for my life
was obstructed
by your towering abodes.

I agree you did
sanction me a boat with sails
but, nonetheless,
mortgaged my oars and
arrested all the winds flowing towards me.

I am so thankful for
your benign favours
and wish to express my gratitude,
but am baffled how to do so
since I’m not allowed to voice
my emotions without your authority
and my pen has mercilessly been snatched!

  8. So thoughtful of you to post in Hindi and then translate to English!

Yes, the world is like that... they cry over your shoulder, but when you need support, no one seems available.
