Peace
Godly
Sentinelese
Let’s not pollute
By teaching religion

Prayer
O my Lord
Please grant me
Some prolongation
No, I’m not afraid of death
And definitely wish to
Submerge forever in
The silent relief
Of your cool comfort
But still
Just for a little while more
Let me experience this
Heartless callous world
So that
I don’t feel like
Coming here again!

Reading fiction
Opened an old novel
Memories came alive
A dried-up rose!

Dodo
Water water everywhere
Not a drop on its wing
Golden dodo soars high
In dark gray sky
Worry not give time
Damp patch to dry
On the ceiling
And on the lung
May it sound funny, honey
But what really matters
Is money

Coma
Memories’ quartz
Dust of time,
Quiet flows
Rivulet of images,
Ardours plash
And feelings gale,
Dreams murmur
Desires stretch.
Between us but
Icicles in coma!

You are missed
The wind is naughty today again
feebly teasing sometimes
uncouthly caressing the chime
And it is responding too
not in rapturous pleasure
but in painful sighs
They feel your absence
and miss you perhaps.
Or do I?

Perennial
Will the Ganga defile
If I end
My life in it
To reunite with Thee?
Why no my soul
Is too pure
To pollute it
For the moments it remains
In there..
And the biodegradable body
Will satiate the fish
Within couple of hours.
Ah but for the stent
In my heart
And the ache!

Fodder
Jaded are my eyes and gorged brain
Oh so badly I need something to sustain
No placebo I crave for, give me a balm..
Who feeds on cartfuls of fodder?
I thrive on a pearl on an ivory palm!
