Fodder

Jaded are my eyes and gorged brain
Oh so badly I need something to sustain
No placebo I crave for, give me a balm..
Who feeds on cartfuls of fodder?
I thrive on a pearl on an ivory palm!

  13. It's such a beautiful poem Amit! All one needs is just one empathetic soul than the army of so-called friends.
Personally,I'll have one pearl of a classic book rather than the whole fodder of the worldly relations and rhetorics.

  15. One pearl is all I crave for....one good book, one good friend, one good thought, one true love, one honest smile....a beautiful poem Amit ji...and I don't know why but it reminded me of Blake's 'eternity in an hour'....
