न
सिर्फ़
माफ़
करते
रहते
छिछोरी
हरक़तों
को
मेरी
बल्कि
साफ़
भी
करते हो
मुझे
ज्वार
- भाटा
खेल
कर.

DeleteOne of my favorite poems from the collection. Thanks so much for the mention and the dedication. A reader too is like 'गन्दा नाला'who is purified, cleansed, by writings like these. No wonder they say that pen is mightier than the sword.
ReplyDeleteAm humbled! Thank you Sunaina:)
DeleteThank you Amitji for truly emancipating readers like us from the quagmire of abject ignorance.

How can the reader be equated with the read ? You are the cleanser we are the cleansed.

ReplyDeleteAmit, anguished gratitude beautifully expressed. These lines could reflect the burden human civilisation places on Mother Nature as well. She has kept up trying to purify human waste. But how long can she take the load?
ReplyDeleteExactly, Lata! In fact the very thought occurred when I saw a huge nullah carrying town waste merging into the sea; and then the thought got converted into a feeling..with a bit of philosophy..
DeleteThank you for your interpretation too:)
The way you express gratitude is beautiful. I loved reading it :)
