सलीक़ा



                              प्यासे - सूखे होठों को
                            सिखाते हो पीने का सलीक़ा,
                             चलो अब फेंक दो प्याला
                             सुराही मेरे मुँह से लगा दो.

    Insaan ki fitrat par ek sachhi baat :

    Sukhe honthon se hi hoti hai meethi baatein Pyaas bujh jaye to Alfaaz aur Insaan dono badal jaate hain !!

    Somehow this reminded me of a ghazal by Pankaj Udhas "Maza lena hai peene ka toh, kam kam dheere dheere pi..mitega haule haule ye tera gham, dheere dheere pi.." :)

      Pankaj Udhas bhi theek kahte hain...lekin pyaas se marne wala kaise 'kam-kam-dheere-dheere' piye?

    great one... It reminded me the great poem "Madhushala" by Harivansha rai Bachhan... The starting line of that poem says...
    " Madirayala jane ko ghar se chalta hai peene wala.
    Kis path pe jaye asmanjas me hai wo bhola-bhala.
    Alag alag path batlate sab par main ye batlata hun.
    Raah pakar ek chala chal pa jaiyega madhushala. "
