उम्र..


न उम्र का अहसास
न बरसों का हिसाब.

पर देखता हूँ ये 
कि जश्नों के मुक़ाबिल,

जनाज़ों में ज़्यादह 
जाने लगा हूँ अब!


Translation:

Age...

Unaware of years,
( I'm) oblivious of (my) age.

Ah...but yes,
I notice that

attending funerals
is more frequent lately,
than bashes!

  11. Amitji, bashes should not stop..no matter what the age..and death is reality of life..sooner or later has to come..so why worry about it..Wish u a long life full of bashes..Love all ur writing..
