Meditate

Love is in the air
But so is smog
And dust and noise and CO2
Meaningless campaigns
Dull cartoons Blunt advices
Obscene jokes Political wars
Pierce through eyes, ears, nose
Oh give me a break
In silence let me meditate.

  1. Life is never a rosy picture. You've painted the reality in words.

  2. From love to smog to dust to noise to poison to meaninglessness to crudity to blood sheds... a tortuous (necessary evil?) path to Nirvana....????

    1. Not in my lifetime I'm sure...or never perhaps!
Have you ever seen anything coming back to the good old normal anywhere on this planet?
      Thank you Uppal ma'am:)

  7. Heh heh! It's all just a cauldron of muck. We just want to see what we want and ignore the rest. The besotted eyes of a lover never cares for the carbon monoxide in his lungs. He gets enough life from those limpid pools of raw happiness.

But to a third party (read: God), the world would really look like something as you described. :D
