Commodities...

When everything
has a cost
and an expiry date,
I wonder why
happiness
doesn’t have a price-tag
and MY sorrow
an expiry date!

  8. Happiness has a price tag, a price only few can afford!
And sorrow has an expiry date too, just that we look at the closed door for so long that we forget some other doors are opened too!

  10. You and all other dear learned friends who have expressed
similar views are absolutely correct, Panchali, but the nuance here is that the 'price tag' is not figurative, it is literal(!)..meaning thereby it is not available off the shelf through MONEY:)
