श्री रामेश्वर काम्बोजहिमांशु’(प्रख्यात लघुकथाकार, वैयाकरण, कवि, समीक्षक. एकल प्रकाशन:20, सम्पादन: 28, आकाशवाणी प्रसारण: 5 केन्द्रों से.) पुस्तक की भूमिका में कहते हैं:

“...संक्षेप में कहें तो-‘चिटकते काँचघरकी कविताएँ कोमल अनुभूतियों  की कविता है  , काँच सी नाज़ुक कि ज़रा -सी ठेस और काँचघर सी  चिटक जाए !अब उनमें रहने को मजबूर नाज़ुक एहसास क्या करें?एहसास जो तितली के पंख जैसे कोमल और इंद्रधनुष जैसे चित्ताकर्षक रंगों से सराबोर हैं !
नतीजा एक ही है कि  चिटक गए फर्शों पर बिखरी किरचों से घायल, लहूलुहान पाँव लिये वे एहसास ऐसी कसक समोए जीते रहें ,जो शब्दों से परे हैं।इस संग्रह में कविता हो या शायरी या कुछ और, शिकवा नहीं, शिकायत नहीं, सिर्फ़ धीमी-धीमी कराहों के स्वर बिखरे हैं ,जैसे कोई चुपचाप खुद अपने ज़ख़्मों से खेल रहा हो और दर्द असहनीय हो उठने पर कराह उठे।कवि- मन में प्रकृति से बेइंतहा प्यार है ,तो उसमें डूब जाने की पुरज़ोर चाह भी हैयहाँ तक कि कहीँ-कहीं कवि तन्मय नहींतदरूप हो जाता है...
संवेदनशील पाठकों के लिए यह संग्रह एक उपहार सिद्ध होगा..."

Dr. Ved Prakash ‘Vatuk’, D.Litt.(Harvard University); Ex Secretary Hindi Parishad, London; Ex Director Folklore Institute, Berkeley, says in his foreword:

You have beautifully managed to capture the pain the symbolic bonsai is smarting under. Nicely captured are also the potent hands of the Time. Both Hindi and English versions are excellent. The Hindi version has an edge though.
