प्यारे दोस्तों,
सुश्री मनिपर्णा सेनगुप्ता मजुमदार का अँग्रेज़ी हाइकु  'alone'  मुझे इतना अभिभूत कर गया कि कई दिनों तक वो मुझ पर हावी सा रहा.
उनकी अनुमति से मैंने भी इस ही विषय पर लिखने की कोशिश की है.  मेरे चार हिन्दी हाइकु मूल अँग्रेज़ी हाइकु के तीन objects : चिड़िया,  दीवार,  विधवा;  और एक भाव : अकेलापन  के  इर्द-गिर्द  ही  घूमते हैं,  (मैंने अपनी रचनाओं को मनिपर्णा के हाइकु से प्रेरित नहीं कहा है, क्योंकि प्रेरणा विचार की होती है जबकि इनमें से किसी में भी विचार मेरा original नहीं है, मेरे चारों हाइकु में विचार मनिपर्णा ही का है).  लेकिन मैंने अपने हाइकु(ओं) में कुछ विशिष्ट शब्दों का प्रयोग किया है जिनसे उनका क्षेत्र विस्तृत हो गया है और उन्हें नए आयाम, नए अर्थ मिले हैं.
मेरा मानना है कि  मौलिकता  भी विचार की होती है, शब्द केवल आवरण मात्र हैं .. मैंने मनिपर्णा के विचार को मात्र कुछ अन्य शब्द पहनाये हैं,  और इसी कारण से मनिपर्णा को ही अपने हाइकु(ओं) की भी मूल रचयिता मान कर ये पोस्ट मैं ससम्मान उन्हें समर्पित करता हूँ!
आप सब सुधि पाठकों के समक्ष व्याख्या करने की आवश्यकता नहीं समझता, केवल आपका ध्यान 'ख़ामोशी', 'परकोटे' और 'संग' के प्रयोग की ओर आकृष्ट करना चाहूँगा जिन्होंने हाइकु(ओं) को बहुआयामी अर्थ दिए हैं.
अहिन्दीभाषी मित्रों का प्रोत्साहन मुझे हमेशा मिला है.. उनकी सहायता के लिए key उपलब्ध है.

विधवा सखी

भरभराता घर
बेवा ख़ामोशी

उदास  पंछी
परकोटे पे काई
संग वैधव्य

डगमगाता जहाँ
चिड़िया, बेवा!

Key :
बियावान = deserted
तन्हा = lonely/lonesome
भरभराता = crumbling
बेवा = widow
परकोटा = parapet
काई = moss/mossed
संग = with/white stone ‘संगमर्मर’
वैधव्य = widowhood
जहाँ = world

  2. मनिपर्णा तो अंग्रेजी हाइकू की "शहंशाह " हैं ! आपने भी उनको प्रेरणा मानते हुए शानदार हायकू गढ़े हैं अमित जी !!

  3. I'm totally out of touch when it comes to reading hindi (not at all being proud about that. Read Godan a couple of months ignite the fervor for hindi) - but these were very well written. kudos.

  6. Beautifully done.... I liked how you combined adjectives with emotions to heighten the sense of isolation and loneliness - there is a term for that but I am forgetting it - as in 'Bewa khamoshi ' and 'biyawan deewaren'.... Maniparna's haiku reflected a profound mind at work. You both are amazing writers and the way you two describe emotions weaving them so beautifully is an inspiration to us readers.
