The jaundiced embryo of the moon
aborts into an ugly yolk
and drips drops whole night.
The cloud eyed fish
slither in sweltering slime of their sweat
and plonk into seething singe.
The ancient frayed brown jasmine
faints into faltering fissures
of dreamless dry eyes.
The gloomy grey glow-worms
wriggle without wings in webs
beneath withering Peepal leaves.
They say above distant oceans faraway
life will turn into vapour
and drench us someday..!
Nice one Amitji..we started getting drenched already..
