Zorba

Hi friends!
So what if it’s the last letter of the alphabet today, it is also the first ABCW of the New Year!
Let’s not dampen the ethos thinking about the end of this round, and be happy that a fresh one starts next week..

and what better word to encapsulate this spirit than what I present today:

Z is for Zorba

Plea

Puzzled
I vulnerable
Naked stark
You fascinate
In frills intricate.

Showing bits
You beguile
Intrigued
I chase.

 Fruit forbidden
You offer
Hesitantly though
I oblige.

You elude
Since then
O life
Me Tarzan you Jane!

This post is dedicated to Sunaina Sharma for prompting me to present a poem when I reach the letter ‘P’.
The other half of this post a picture of the prodigious, princely Pine is sheer coincidence..the pun was never intended :)
Thank you Sunaina for this pretty prescription!

You will understand why the two pillars in the foreground are asymmetrical if you look at the shadows carefully.
